What is RSS (Really Simple Syndication)?

RSS or Really Simple Syndication allows you to see when sites have added new content. You can get the latest updates, as soon as they are published, without having to remember to visit the site each day. This means you can see exactly when we have added new content to the Making the Links website.

RSS feeds are just a special kind of web page designed to be read by computers rather than people. They operate like a free, internet version of the old-fashioned ticker-tape news wire machines. They provide the information that you read when you visit the News Feeds section of the Making the Links site.
