In this show, Making the Links' Don Kossick explores the vital organizing done through the Workers' Action Centre in Toronto.  The Workers' Action Centre is a worker-based organization committed to improving the lives and working conditions of people in low-wage and unstable employment. Thousands of workers, particularly recent immigrants to Canada, are struggling to make ends meet, working temporary or precarious jobs. The Workers' Action Centre provides an avenue for non-unionized workers to join together and fight for fair employment, recognizing that people who are directly affected by poor working conditions should be the ones providing leadership in the struggle for fairness and dignity at work.
